There’s absolutely nothing worse than needing to take your shoes off and exposing roughly broken heels, blisters, bunions, and corns. Our feet take us many miles daily, and they deserve special treatment after a long day. The following are a couple of tidbits to prepare your feet for those cute spring or summer shoes just waiting to be worn and year-round exposure. This post is all about excellent tips for gorgeous-looking feet!
Tip #1

Heels are always in style and so charming; however, your feet suffer considerably. Wearing the proper shoes is vital to help maintain your feet and stay healthy; although many ladies can’t resist those great-looking heels, they make your legs and feet feel sore the next day. It’s okay to wear heels once in a while but if you have issues with your feet, try to lay them off and consider wearing something to help maintain health. You can try Dr. Schooll’s Tri Comfort Insoles or Dr. Scholl’s Stylish Step Insoles; these offer outstanding comfort.
Tip #2

Ensure your feet stay clean by drying and cleaning in between your toes, and make sure you dry them well to prevent germs and fungi from forming, which grow in wet locations. Also, let your shoes air out in between wearings. Using a little foot powder like Gold Bond Maximum or Dr. Scholl’s Order-x Sweat Absorbing powder will also help keep them dry.
Tip #3

If you suffer from athlete’s foot or any other fungal conditions, make sure not to recycle your towel throughout treatments, as germs can lay inactive for four weeks. In addition, you can contract athletes’ feet in swimming pools, health clubs, and anywhere people are barefoot, such as dressing rooms.
Tip #4

If you give yourself pedicures at home, soak your feet for about 10 minutes in 1 cup of Epsom Salt or sea salt to 2 gallons of water in a foot tub. It’s an excellent way to soften skin, remove the smell, and relax weary, aching feet. Soaking your entire body in Epsom salt is also great for the body, and it gets your feet soft at the same time; win, win!
Tip #5

Use exfoliating items to prevent or eliminate tough skin from your feet. There are many exfoliating treatments, pumice stones, and files everywhere these days to pick from. While in the tub or shower, scrub your feet and heels with your preferred body scrub to keep them smooth and soft. Using these fantastic tips will ensure you have gorgeous-looking feet year-round.
Tip #7

You can also take your pedicure tools to the beauty salon instead of using the same tools they use on everyone. For at-home pedicures, clean your devices with an anti-bacterial soap to eliminate any germs that might form after every use.
Tip #8

In some cases, nail polish will peel or split before your next pedicure. You can always use your polish to retouch a toe or more between sessions. Polish rubs off my toes when I use closed-toe shoes. I retouch them rather than repolishing all of them. They stay looking great a little longer without the added cost.
Tip #9

If you have dehydrated skin, use an ultra-hydrating foot cream. Apply after your bath or shower. You can also add socks after applying the foot cream to lock in the moisture. This will keep them smooth, hydrated, and ready for your spring and summer shoes.
Tip #10

When using sandals, flip-flops, or going barefoot at the pool or beach, place some sunblock on top of your feet. Don’t forget to reapply after coming out of the water.
Tip #11
Treat your feet to a massage at home or a salon once. You’re on your feet all day and put a lot of miles on them daily. They’re worthy of pampering and being well taken care of.

Remember, your feet can look excellent all year with a bit of TLC and the proper footwear. Your feet are the secret to your movement, and looking after them today will avoid future issues. Use these fantastic tips that will give you gorgeous-looking feet daily! You won’t regret it!
